    Fitness

    Optimal health must include being reasonably fit by exercising regularly and remaining physically active. Think moderation and balance!

    Stretching, resistance or strength training, range of motion, balance, coordination, flexibility, and cardiovascular fitness should be a part of your fitness program.

    At Balanced Health and Wellness, our certified personal trainer,  Ramona  Stehle (bio) and Dr. Alavi (bio) develop and maintain a customized program commiserate with your current metabolism, goals, abilities and limitations.

    Periodic fitness assessments are obtained to objectively monitor your progress. Stress reduction techniques such as yoga, Tai Chi, and breathing and stretching techniques are encouraged. Therapeutic massage is also incorporated in a timely manner to optimize results.

    Individual appointments are available to consult with Ramona about your fitness at a rate of $65 per hour. She is also available for fitness education, personal training, and group exercise. Discounts are available when purchasing packages of training.

    Burst Training
    Burst training or interval training is the exercise of choice for raising one’s metabolism and keeping it up for many hours AFTER exercise.  This leads to increased weight loss and often helps with plateaus in weight loss programs.

    Group Fitness 
    We  now  offer  a  group  fitness  class  close  to  our  office.
